HIGHLIGHTS:
- Within the past week or so Tommy has popped out 3 molars. This is a major highlight because we didn't even realize he was teething he's been such a good/happy baby. This is also a highlight because it means he will be able to chew better and eat a bigger variety of foods.
- Timmy comes home from Pre-School talking about his new friends and singing the songs he's learned. Next time you see him- try to get him to sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. When he gets to the "gently down the stream" part it's so freak'n cute it will melt your heart
- As stated- had a garage sale this past Fri & Sat. Made $347. 50. Booh-ya!! It was kind of dead on Saturday (compared to crazy busy on Fri) that my friend Elizabeth & I decided we were going to keep everything out & marked and haul it out again next Fri- even another $50 would rock!
- Tim applied for an education program that is funded thru IL University (for sciences) and was excepted! This will look great on a resume and the extra money (coming next year) will be great for our bank account! He didn't even have to fill out the application completely and they called and accepted him. One of those moments I couldn't help but beam w/ pride & happiness for him.
- So far I'm juggling the new school load okay. If it wasn't for Tom & Nancy it wouldn't be possible and I remember that often- especially every Tues when I drop the kids off at 8am and Tim doesn't get them until he is off work. I'm so blessed to have inlaws that believe in getting an education and believe that I could and should do it.
LOWLIGHTS
- We haven't gotten anywhere w/ potty training. There are days I need to remind myself that one day Timmy will just do it and that I will NOT have a 10 year old going to school in diapers.
- I'm currently getting a C in my Earth Science class- may not seem like a big deal but I'm getting a 3.7 gpa and would like to keep it up as I'll be applying for a lot of scholarships next year. I'm hoping that now we are done w/ rocks & minerals it will become a little more interesting and understandable. (next time you need be to clarify if a rock is a Ingneous, Sedimentary or Metamorphic rock- just let me know- I would love to put this information to use.
That's about it- life is good! Hopefully next time I can find my camera and can post some pictures along w/ the post (but you can usually find updated pics on facebook).
